GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Head table draped in white.

  • All tables are set with silver and linen.

  • A $1,000 deposit for Upper Hall and a $750 deposit for Lower Hall is required for all bookings. The deposit will be credited to your account. 

  • No refunds or cancellations.

HALL RENTAL TERMS

Here is everything you need to know before renting with us. Have additional questions? Give us a call!

Hall and Room Reservations Procedures

We can tentatively hold a room/hall for a period of no more than three weeks. A deposit will be required to confirm a booking. 

Upper Hall $1,000.00 

Lower Hall $750.00

Contract Completion

Your contract should be completed with the Manager at least three (3) weeks prior to your function date, thus allowing us the time required to do our ordering, staffing and preparation for any special requests you may have. If the contract is not finalized in time, a late change may be applied to your invoice.

Pricing

Prices are guaranteed for a period of 60 days prior to the date of the function. Al food and non-alcoholic beverages are subject to 13% HST and 5% service charge.

Function Size

When booking a hall/room, we need to know approximately how many people will be attending your event. However, we will require the confirmed number of guests two (2) weeks prior to the function. You will be responsible for the guaranteed number of guests of the actual number of meals served, whichever is greater.

Alcoholic Beverages

We have a variety of services available to suit your needs. You will find these listed in our Banquet Menu. The rules and regulations of the Provincial Liquor Laws (LLBO) and policies & procedures of the Società  Caruso govern us. All wines and spirits are subject to 13% HST AND a 5% service fee.

Cancellation Policy 

If a cancellation of an event occurs, the initial deposit will be retained unless the room is re-booked. An additional fee will also be charged in the event of cancellation two (2) months prior to the function date.

Food and Beverage Service

We do not allow any food to be brought into the Società, nor do we rent or allow non-employees the usage of the kitchen or the bar areas. Under some circumstances, we will allow homemade wine to be served with your meal, but it must be properly bottled and accompanied by a liquor permit. When ordering the meal for your function, the Società will also allow you to bring your homemade desserts for your sweet table.

Invoicing and Payment 

The initial deposit used to secure a room/hall will be deducted from the total of your invoice. The remaining balance will be invoiced and payment in full is required fourteen (14) days from the date of the function. A late fee of 2% is charged on all overdue accounts. A credit card fee of 3% is charged over $1000.00.

Decorations

The room/hall that you book does not have any decorations, but you may hire a decorator or decorate yourself. You must provide your own tools: for example, scissors, pins, tape, extension cords, etc. Your decorations must be removed by the end of the evening unless you’ve made alternate arrangements with the Manager. The use of nails, staples or tape that can damage the walls or ceiling, is strictly prohibited. Decorations can be hung from the existing hooks on the walls and ceiling. Table candles for centrepieces may be used if they are in a bowl, floating in water or in a closed container. Due to fire regulations, exposed flames cannot be used. A projector screen is available in both the upper and lower halls.

Damage

Damages may occur in some cases. The deposit may be withheld at the discretion of the Manager to cover the cost of repairing the damage. If the damages are significantly more than the deposit, the person named on the contract will be responsible for repairing the damages.

We go out of our way to satisfy our customers. If there is anything of which you are not sure or wish to have a specific meal or service you do not see on our menu, please do not hesitate to ask. We will do our very best to accommodate you.
